Maren Bohne, NP-C, is a Nurse Practitioner working with Dr. Behzadi who provides care to pediatric and adult patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sciences at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Shortly after graduation she decided she wanted to pursue a career in medicine and attended Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland where she received a second Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
As a Bay Area native, Maren moved back to California to start her career. She has always been drawn to sports and other outdoor activities and naturally gravitated towards orthopedics. Maren sees patients in clinic and makes an effort to educate each patient about his or her orthopedic condition and empower them to take part in their health so they can get back to what they love doing most, whether it be skiing or taking their grandchildren for a walk. In her free time Maren likes to hike, camp, dabble in cooking and spend time with family and friends.
