My name is Katie O’Donnell and I am an ANCC board certified nurse practitioner working with Dr. Liu and Dr. Long. I graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. I worked in the intensive care unit for four years at a community teaching hospital caring for the underserved population, a big passion of mine. During this time, I obtained my critical care registered nurse certificate. I graduated from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University with a Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner as a member of the Nursing Honor Society.
I have a passion for research and a love for learning. Currently, I am obtaining the registered nurse first assist certificate. I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, California Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and Association of periOperative Registered Nurses. I am originally from Lafayette, Louisiana and moved to California a few months ago. I love reading new research studies, traveling, and taking Duckie, my dog, to the beautiful dog beaches and dog parks here in California.
