Dr. Laura Sonoda is a board-certified Orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in hand and upper extremity surgery. She enjoys treating a broad spectrum of conditions from carpal tunnel and arthritis to complex reconstruction, arthroscopy, and fracture care. She has several publications describing novel techniques, clinical review, and cadaver anatomical biomechanical studies.

During childhood Dr. Sonoda trained as a competitive gymnast and maintains an understanding of the mindset of an athlete. She is happy to return to her hometown to raise her own 3 young children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and traveling.
